Vietnamese Woman Jailed for Life in Singapore for Killing Boyfriend in “Love Gone Wrong” Case

SINGAPORE – A Vietnamese woman, Nguyen Ngoc Giau, 43, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering her boyfriend, Cho Wang Keung, 51, after suspecting him of drinking with a beer promoter. The fatal stabbing occurred on July 15, 2021, outside Cho’s flat at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3. Justice Dedar Singh Gill dismissed Nguyen’s claims of intoxication and a sudden fight, stating she acted with clear intent.
