(Reuters) — Cristiano Ronaldo has officially become the first footballer to reach billionaire status, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which estimates his net worth at $1.4 billion. The 40-year-old Al-Nassr striker’s wealth stems from his record-breaking $400 million contract with the Saudi club, alongside endorsement deals with Nike, Armani, and Castrol.
