Selangor PAS has pledged not to ban lottery outlets if it wins the next state election, citing the state’s multiracial makeup and the need for inclusive governance.

State commissioner Ab Halim Tamuri said policies must reflect local demographics and be guided by consensus. He dismissed concerns about PAS’s ability to govern urban areas, highlighting his own mixed constituency and the party’s recruitment of professionals.
Ab Halim also promoted the “PAS for All” concept, aiming to protect welfare across communities. Acknowledging lingering Islamophobia, he said PAS is committed to bridging gaps through dialogue and engagement with non-Muslim voters.
