SHAH ALAM – Former Federal Territories minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa has been urged to explain the approval of land acquisition gazettes involving Kampung Sungai Baru during his tenure. PKR’s Syed Badli Shah Syed Osman said the gazettes under Sections 4 and 8 of the Land Acquisition Act 1960 were approved hastily, as revealed by current minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa.

He criticised Annuar’s challenge to discuss the issue on a podcast as a diversionary tactic. “Annuar should have clarified earlier instead of hiding behind political theatrics,” Syed Badli said, urging accountability to affected residents.
