PETALING JAYA, Oct 11 — Former Sabah DAP chairman Frankie Poon and ex-secretary Liau Fui Fui have quit the party, citing dissatisfaction with its current leadership under Phoong Jin Zhe.
The duo claimed the state chapter now favours younger members while sidelining veterans who contributed to DAP’s growth in Sabah.

They also criticised alleged attempts to replace leaders in Tanjong Papat without consulting senior members.
Poon, the outgoing Tanjong Papat assemblyman and chairman of Sabah Development Bank Bhd, said several branch members would follow them in leaving.
