PUTRAJAYA — The Finance Ministry (MoF) announced that over 53,900 full-time e-hailing drivers are now eligible for an increased BUDI95 RON95 fuel subsidy quota of 600 litres per month. The expanded entitlement follows cross-verification of data with the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD). Additionally, 11,400 new and renewed licence holders have been added to the programme, bringing total beneficiaries to over 16 million Malaysians.

The BUDI95 subsidy has also been extended to 1,400 registered private boat users in Sarawak to ensure equitable nationwide coverage. MoF said the Madani government remains committed to transparent, targeted subsidy implementation and will continue monitoring and improving the scheme’s rollout.
