Israeli Soldiers Treated Aid Volunteers with Unprecedented Cruelty: Report

SEPANG — Malaysian volunteer Dr Fauziah Mohd Hassan condemned the Israeli army’s harsh treatment of humanitarian activists from the Freedom Flotilla Coalition and Thousand Medleens to Gaza missions. She said Israeli soldiers displayed “no compassion” and were far rougher compared with her 2016 detention.

Israeli Soldiers Cruelty

Upon arrival at Ashdod Port, two soldiers attempted to drag her despite her injured shoulder, only stopping after she protested. Dr Fauziah described the soldiers as aggressive and intimidating toward volunteers. She stressed that while their ordeal was temporary, it exposed Israel’s increasingly cruel handling of peaceful humanitarian missions.
