VANTAA, Finland — Malaysia’s top women’s doubles pair, Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah, captured the Arctic Open 2025 title after demolishing Japan’s Rin Iwanaga and Kie Nakanishi 21-7, 21-9 in just 32 minutes. The second seeds dominated from start to finish, displaying aggressive play and sharp shot-making at the Vantaan Energia Areena.

Arctic Open Triumph

The world number two duo, who lost in last year’s final, earned their second title of the year after winning the Thailand Open in May. Tan-Thinaah pocketed US$37,525, extending their head-to-head record to six wins over the Japanese pair.
