LOS ANGELES — Pop singer Chappell Roan used her sold-out concert near the Pasadena Rose Bowl to condemn U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), telling fans, “Fuck ICE forever.” The “Midwest Princess” performer praised Los Angeles for embracing her since moving from Missouri nine years ago, calling it “the best place in the world.”

Her statement drew swift criticism from the Department of Homeland Security. Spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told TMZ, “‘Pink Pony Club’ is good. Pedophiles are bad. That’s who we’re getting off our streets. Get a grip.”
However, data from Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse shows that over 70% of ICE detainees have no criminal convictions, contradicting government claims.
