A Form Four student was tragically killed after being stabbed by a Form Two boy at a school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. near the girls’ restroom, with police confirming multiple stab wounds and the seizure of two sharp weapons.

The suspect, aged 14, also reportedly attacked another student and has since been arrested. Authorities ruled out bullying as a motive, though investigations are ongoing. The victim’s body has been sent for postmortem at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre. Police and education officials are expected to release further details in a special press briefing later today.
Social media users say that it is important to not bring the American culture of school shootings to Malaysia. Stricter disciplinary action is something most social media users are in agreement with.
It comes as a shock to many as just barely a week ago, a female student was s*xually assaulted by a group of seniors. Some are blaming the educational system for these problems.
