The suspect and victim reportedly had no prior connection, and the attack occurred in a school toilet. Authorities believe emotional distress and social media influence may have played a role. The suspect had previously displayed the knife in class.

He panicked after the incident and was detained by teachers and students. The case is being investigated under Section 302 for murder, with mental health assessments pending.
