Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at a school in Sabak Bernam, Selangor. The incident reportedly occurred during recess on Monday. Sabak Bernam police chief Yusoff Ahmad said the suspect was detained the same day and remanded for four days. The case is being investigated under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
School Sex Assault
This latest incident follows two recent cases of alleged gang rape involving students in Alor Gajah and Kedah. In those cases, several teenage boys were charged or arrested for sexual assault, with one accused also pleading guilty. Authorities have expressed concern over the rise in school-based sexual offences.
