There have been discussions regarding the alleged KLIA highway name change in recent days. Netizens are surprised to know that the highway that was built during Tun Dr Mahathir’s time is now renamed as the Lebuh Madani.
Built by Tun Dr Mahathir, Madani Highway?
Several users are sharing screenshots showing Lebuh Madani. A check by LatestMalaysia showed Lebuh Madani on Waze. Netizens feel the new slogan has been used for so many things that the name is no longer as appealing to people as it once was. Furthermore, some find it peculiar as to why existing infrastructures are renamed to the current political slogan, which may change if another political party takes over.
To add to the confusion, there are others who say such highway names don’t exist. Currently, on Waze, the highway’s name is still called Lebuhraya KLIA.
