Pakatan Harapan (PH) will adapt to Barisan Nasional’s (BN) decision to contest future elections independently, said Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Karim. He described the move as part of Malaysia’s evolving political landscape, where alliances may form post-election rather than before.
PH will go solo
Hassan urged PH to respect BN’s stance and highlighted the need for mutual understanding, suggesting some seats be left uncontested to preserve federal cooperation. He added that BN’s decision could strengthen its position after losing federal dominance. BN chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi earlier confirmed the coalition would use its own logo in all upcoming elections.
