An 18-year-old woman in Melaka suffered serious injuries after being slashed from behind by a motorcyclist while riding pillion with her sister-in-law in Solok Tangga Batu, Tanjung Kling.
Melaka Police Arrest Slash Suspect
The attack occurred around 5:30 PM on 20 October, and the suspect fled the scene. Bystanders rushed to help, and the victim was taken to Hospital Melaka’s Yellow Zone. She had recently moved from Johor to work as a factory operator.
Police arrested the suspect within 24 hours. Melaka Tengah Police Chief Christopher Patit confirmed the case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for causing harm with a weapon.
