Datuk Seri Najib Razak has accused key prosecution witnesses in his RM2.3 billion 1MDB trial of being the true perpetrators of financial misconduct. In his defence submission, Najib named former 1MDB executives, legal counsel, and aides allegedly involved in transferring billions to unverified accounts and receiving funds linked to Jho Low.

He questioned why none had been charged despite their roles, claiming their testimonies were accepted solely because they testified against him. Najib faces four charges of misappropriation and 21 counts of money laundering. The trial, presided over by Judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah, is nearing its final stages.
