PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) has launched an investigation after Malaysia Airlines flight MH2742 from Kuala Lumpur to Bintulu experienced a sudden loss of cabin pressure on Oct 21. The operating crew executed a controlled descent and deployed oxygen masks according to standard safety protocols.

The aircraft landed safely at Bintulu Airport at 10.31am without further incident. MAG said there were no safety risks to passengers or crew during the event. “We sincerely apologise for the disruption,” the airline said, adding that a full review is underway to determine the cause and prevent recurrence.
