Maxim Partners with Society of the Blind to Offer Free Rides and Food Aid

KUALA LUMPUR: Maxim E-hailing Malaysia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Society of the Blind Malaysia (SBM) to enhance accessibility and welfare for the visually impaired community.

Under the partnership, Maxim will provide free e-hailing rides to SBM members for daily travel, medical appointments, and community activities, helping to reduce mobility challenges faced by the blind. The company also donated food bank packages to 163 SBM members as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.

Maxim Malaysia Director Mohd Hazwan Musley said the initiative aims to make transportation more inclusive and empower the visually impaired to live more independently.
