KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Najib Razak told the High Court that he returned US$620 million of allegedly unused donation funds to the original source. He added that he had formally sought Bank Negara Malaysia’s approval before returning the funds. Najib said he was “the only politician or alleged money launderer” to return supposed gratification and inform the central bank about it.
