An 11-month-old baby, Nur Adriana Amira Mohamad Norismail, died in her mother’s arms after the family car crashed into a herd of cows at Kilometer 49 Jalan Kerayong–Simpang Kepayang, Bera. The accident occurred at 9.40 p.m. when her father, Mohamad Norismail Sani, 22, lost control of the Perodua Bezza after several cows suddenly crossed the road.
Baby dies
The baby suffered fatal head injuries and died while receiving treatment at Klinik Bandar 32. Two cows were killed in the collision. Bera police chief Superintendent Zulkiflee Nazir said investigations found the driver failed to control the vehicle in time.
