A passenger described a terrifying moment when a Kuala Lumpur–Bintulu flight suddenly lost cabin pressure mid-air, causing oxygen masks to deploy and panic among passengers. Abdul Jalil, who shared his experience on Facebook, said the aircraft felt as though it plunged briefly before the captain declared an emergency.

The situation was stabilised when the plane descended to 10,000 feet. Flight attendants later reassured passengers, and the plane landed safely at Bintulu Airport at 10.35 a.m. Airline and airport staff were waiting at the gate. The airline has yet to comment on the incident.
