KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 — Police arrested 31 suspects, including a 12-year-old boy, in a nationwide crackdown on online child sexual abuse material under Ops Pedo 2.0. Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail said raids from Sept 22 to 30 targeted 37 individuals, resulting in 82 devices seized.

The suspects, aged 12 to 71, include teachers, engineers, and students. Investigations uncovered 880,000 illicit digital files — 20 times more than the previous operation. Seventeen suspects have been charged, and 14 released on bail. Police vowed strict action against those exploiting or endangering children online.
