KUALA LUMPUR: PAS Information Chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari slammed the government for welcoming US President Donald Trump’s visit, calling it the “worst chapter” in Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s administration and a move that could trigger his downfall.

Speaking at a protest outside the US Embassy against Trump’s arrival for the ASEAN Summit, Ahmad Fadhli accused Anwar of “bringing a terrorist leader onto Malaysian soil” and warned that the prime minister “will not stay long in power” for allowing it.
