KUALA LUMPUR: Perikatan Nasional (PN) has removed Saifuddin Abdullah as its Pahang chief after he publicly criticised coalition chairman Muhyiddin Yassin. PN secretary-general Azmin Ali said Saifuddin will be replaced by PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
PN Drops Saifuddin
Earlier, Saifuddin told Berita Harian that Muhyiddin had “lost his leadership quality” and failed to hold party meetings. He also questioned Muhyiddin over allegations involving his son-in-law, fugitive businessman Adlan Berhan. Azmin added that Mas Ermieyati Samsudin and Shahidan Kassim were appointed as new PN chiefs for Melaka and Perlis respectively.
