ISKANDAR PUTERI: Defending champions Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) advanced to the FA Cup semifinals after thrashing Penang FC 5-1 on aggregate at Stadium Sultan Ibrahim. Having won 2-1 in the first leg, JDT dominated the return fixture with three more goals to seal their fourth title pursuit.

Led by Xisco Munoz, the Southern Tigers capitalised on their home advantage to overpower the visitors from the start. Meanwhile, Kuching City advanced despite a 2-1 loss to Terengganu, progressing 5-3 on aggregate after a strong first-leg win. JDT will next face Kuching City in the semifinals.
