Train services on the Putrajaya MRT line resumed after a person was caught trespassing on the tracks during morning rush hour on October 29. Rapid KL said the individual was located within 20 minutes, and alternative transport services were discontinued.
Putrajaya MRT Resumes
The incident follows a separate disruption last week, where trains had to be operated manually due to suspected cable theft. Rapid KL is currently adjusting train frequency, with full service expected to normalize soon.
The back-to-back incidents raise concerns about MRT security and infrastructure vulnerabilities, prompting calls for tighter surveillance and preventive measures across the network.
