KUALA LUMPUR: The Indira Gandhi Action Team (INGAT) has raised its bounty from RM10,000 to RM50,000 for information leading to the arrest of Muhammad Riduan Abdullah, the Muslim convert who abducted his daughter Prasana Diksa in 2009.

INGAT chairman Arun Dorasamy accused certain religious organisations and state institutions of shielding Riduan and said possible hideouts had been identified in Kelantan, Kedah, Penang, and Perlis, with escape routes to southern Thailand. Arun also criticised police inaction despite court orders, revealing records showing Riduan had accessed government aid, renewed his road tax, and attended public events using his known identity.
