Former Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli has expressed concern over his son’s health following an attack involving his family at a Putrajaya shopping mall on August 13. Rafizi said his son showed worrying symptoms but refrained from linking them directly to the incident, leaving the matter to medical experts.

He added that he has yet to receive any official updates from police regarding the investigation. “It’s been quite a while without any progress, and I only know what’s reported in the media,” he said. Selangor Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar confirmed that six individuals, including Rafizi and his wife, have provided statements. CCTV footage and chemical tests are under review as investigations continue.
