A Malaysian tourist, Clifford, became an online sensation after taking control of a Grab motorcycle in Hat Yai, Thailand, when his elderly driver repeatedly missed turns. What was meant to be a five-minute ride turned into a 20-minute detour before Clifford politely offered to drive, telling the driver to “just hold my bags.”

The video, posted on Instagram @cliff_kwj, shows the nervous Thai uncle clinging to Clifford’s shoulders as they rode through the city. Clifford later confirmed he caught his train on time. The lighthearted clip has since gone viral, gaining more than 55,000 likes.
