Aeroline is a premium bus service that serves Singapore, Penang and Kuala Lumpur. They’re well known for offering a bus service from Corus Hotel directly to Singapore. It’s a major convenience for business travelers and/or tourists alike. However, a recent directive shows that they’d have to operate out of TBS from 6th November to 5th December.
Netizens Angry with APAD Disrupting Aeroline Services
It is unclear if this is a permanent fixture, but social media users are criticising APAD for this move. They state that TBS is not a suitable place for a premium service for the likes of Aeroline. Netizens are calling the bus terminal an embarrassingly “third class” facility.
Additionally, netizens are joking that the current Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke appears to have a problem with things named “Aero,” as the revamped KLIA Aerotrain has proven itself to be a colossal failure. Now, Aeroline is unfortunately having their business disrupted.
For the most part, most if not all of the netizens commenting about this are on the side of Aeroline. It appears that quite a number of KL residents have used their services, and are happy with them operating out of Corus Hotel in lieu of convenience.
