LANGKAWI, Nov 8 — A 23-year-old woman was killed after her motorcycle skidded while avoiding a cow crossing Jalan Ulu Melaka late last night. The victim, Siti Sarah Hana Mohamad Subri from Kota Kuala Muda, Kedah, suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Langkawi District Police Chief Khairul Azhar Nuruddin stated the accident occurred around 11.40pm as she traveled from Kampung Ulu Melaka toward Ayer Hangat.
