PUTRAJAYA – Higher Education Minister Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir has hinted that a Cabinet reshuffle may take place within two or three weeks. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Putrajaya Ideas Festival, Zambry said he hopes Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will continue supporting the event regardless of his ministerial position.
Cabinet Reshuffle
Zambry, who also serves as Barisan Nasional Secretary-General, became a Senator in December 2022 before being appointed Defence Minister and later Higher Education Minister. He made the remarks at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre on Friday.
Anwar: Any recommendations?
When approached by reporters, Anwar jokingly asked the media to submit suggestions for potential new Cabinet ministers.
“Please give your recommendations if you have any,” he said briefly after officiating the closing ceremony of the Putrajaya Ideas Festival (FOI) at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) on Friday.
