Road Collapse Forces Closure Near Masjid India, Safety Checks Underway

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 10 — A portion of Jalan Bunus near Masjid India collapsed this morning, leading to the temporary closure of several surrounding roads. Kuala Lumpur City Hall confirmed the incident occurred at 8.39am, prompting immediate inspections by Air Selangor, Indah Water Konsortium, and police.

Authorities said safety remains the top priority as repair and monitoring works continue. The area, previously the site of a tragic sinkhole accident last year, remains under close observation.
