Ali (not his real name), 20, is serving time at Pusat Koreksional Puncak Alam after being convicted of drug abuse and trafficking. Raised in poverty and broken family circumstances, he began using drugs at 13 and became a small-time dealer at 16.

Youth Dealer Shares Regret Story

Lured by quick profits, he sold methamphetamine, Eramin 5, cannabis, and syabu, even supplying school students. Though he once enjoyed wealth from the trade, fear of syndicates and loyalty to his stepfather kept him trapped. Arrested five times, Ali now regrets his choices. He says prison has given him peace, faith, and determination to live drug-free.
