Hollywood New Action Hero?
Known for doing his own stunts, Powell has followed Cruise’s playbook while carving his own path, avoiding superhero franchises and focusing on roles that showcase his charisma. Director Edgar Wright praised Powell’s “everyman” appeal, saying he was the perfect choice to lead the remake of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1980s classic. The Running Man hits theaters Friday.
