When the authorities knocked on the bathroom door, loud enough to shake bones. They froze. Of course, they weren’t saints but just two young people trying to make sense of feelings bigger than their age. When the officers walked in the two were red faced, burned with fear.
Student and Lover Caught
In court, everything felt heavier. The room. The stares. The truth. They were fined, and honestly, we believe the shame hurt more, perhaps, for the young couple. Are they monsters or in a phase of fumbling, messing up, trying to understand love inside a world that expects perfection. Mistakes don’t define youth. They teach it. This couple caught in the act have now engraved a history on their names. Will they get over it?
They are fined
A female Form Five student and her 20-year-old boyfriend were each fined RM2,000 and RM3,000 by the Syariah High Court here today after pleading guilty to khalwat in the bathroom of a vocational college two days ago, with Shariah Judge Mohd. Yunus Mohamad Zin handing down the sentence after reviewing the full facts of the case, the defendants’ appeals, and the prosecution’s arguments.
