Currently, the heaviest iPhones ever are the 14 Pro Max and the 13 Pro Max weighing at 240g. However, it is rumoured that the new iPhone 18 Pro Max next year may be a whopping 243g. Some speculate that there could be a significant improvement on the already solid battery life of the pro maxes.

Social media users appear to agree with this decision as they feel those who’d want a thin and light phone can either get the base model iPhones or the iPhone Air. It seems while its competitors are allegedly cutting costs, Apple is all in for their iPhones.
Regardless, now could possibly be the time where smartphones are making the next leap as they have relatively been dormant for the past decade.
