Amodei’s firm recently disclosed Chinese hackers jailbroke its AI model Claude to launch cyberattacks, underscoring risks of misuse. He warned AI could surpass human intelligence, revolutionize medicine, but also erase up to 50% of entry-level office jobs within five years.

Anthropic, valued at $350 billion, is racing to build safeguards while exposing dangers to ensure transparency and accountability.
