A Malaysia family’s ordinary afternoon turned absurd when a girl came home and spotted what looked like batik cloth dangling from the bathroom ceiling. A closer zoom revealed the “fabric” was actually a 60kg reticulated python wedged above the shower.

Her mother, fresh from a work meeting, rushed home only to wonder how batik ended up in the ceiling before realising it was alive. Civil Defence officers hauled the massive snake out as the family watched in stunned disbelief.
