Bersatu MP Abdul Khalib Abdullah declared his support for President Muhyiddin Yassin and his deputy Hamzah Zainudin after a meeting at Muhyiddin’s residence. In a media statement, he said the discussion focused on current developments and strengthening party unity and direction.

He said the top leadership’s shared commitment strengthened confidence that the party could stay organised amid political challenges. Bersatu also released a video showing 18 MPs voicing support for Muhyiddin, just two weeks after a group protested disciplinary action against two lawmakers. The meeting also discussed the upcoming Sabah state election, without addressing claims of replacing the opposition leader.
