Kelantan police arrested a couple, aged 36 and 47, for a year-long car break-in spree that caused losses exceeding RM100,000. They were detained outside a 7-Eleven in Jalan Sri Cemerlang after smashing a car window at Eco Supermarket, Wakaf Mek Zainab, on Saturday evening.

Police seized items including laptops, bags, bank cards, and a Perodua Bezza. Investigations revealed the male suspect had prior drug offences and trained recruits, while both tested positive for methamphetamine. The pair are remanded for four days under Section 379 of the Penal Code. Separately, a 43-year-old policeman was arrested for robberies using a fake pistol.
