Woman dies after 4WD swept away by sudden surge in Gua Musang

A woman was found dead after a Toyota Hilux carrying her and two others was swept away by a sudden water surge at Jambatan Nombor Dua, Kampung Pulai, Gua Musang. Police said the incident occurred around 8.30pm on Thursday when the group was heading to Ladang KLC.

4WD swept away

A local man and a Thai woman managed to escape, but the Indonesian victim was carried away by the strong current. Her body was discovered early Friday about one kilometre from the scene. A post-mortem confirmed drowning as the cause. –
