Rafizi Ramli has voiced concern over the party’s candidate strategy in Sabah, warning that parachute candidates and defectors risk alienating long-time grassroots members. Speaking on Podcast YBM Episode 22, he said Sabah has one of PKR’s largest memberships, and sidelining loyal veterans sends the wrong message.

He argued that election results matter, but party strength after polls is equally critical. The real test, he said, is whether Sabah members still feel ownership of the party and whether the “win at all costs” approach can truly be justified.
