Singaporean fugitive Wilson Raj Perumal, long notorious as a global match-fixing mastermind, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison in Hungary for human trafficking. The 60-year-old had evaded Singaporean authorities since fleeing in 2010, repeatedly avoiding extradition by serving as a state witness in European match-fixing cases.
