BATU PAHAT, Malaysia — A family trip to Felda Pemanis, Segamat, turned fatal when a dislodged 100kg metal longshaft from a tipper truck struck and killed 63-year-old Juhari Murid on Nov 24. The shaft pierced the MPV’s windshield and hit him in the face. Juhari was traveling with his wife, Zaina Khalid, and siblings in a vehicle driven by his brother. All others survived.
