The Council of Datuk Dato’ Malaysia has lodged a police report against a social media influencer accused of using a fake Datuk title. The influencer initially promoted herself as “Datuk Panglima Wilayah (DPW),” a designation not listed in any official honours registry. 

Council Files Police Report

She later claimed “Panglima Mahkota Wilayah,” a legitimate Federal Territory award, but her name does not appear in records. 

The council said she continues to style herself as “Datuk Dr” online. Investigations revealed the Imbued Impact Foundation, which allegedly conferred the title, is not registered or authorised. Authorities warn misuse of titles carries severe penalties under Act 787.
