PAS MP Ahmad Fadhli Shaari has called for Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s resignation after Anwar’s political secretary, Shamsul Iskandar Akin, abruptly stepped down. Shamsul claimed on X that he was informed of an impending attack over a certain issue, describing the situation as part of “filthy political games.”

Fadhli accused the Prime Minister’s Office of failing to act despite repeated reminders reportedly highlighted by Rafizi Ramli. He questioned whether funds allegedly received by Shamsul had also reached Anwar and urged the MACC to conduct a thorough investigation. Fadhli said the controversy raises serious integrity concerns.
