A sextortion syndicate in Johor preyed on vulnerable jobseekers by luring them with fake job offers, then coercing them into sexual exploitation.

The victims—two men and a woman—were beaten, confined, threatened with heavy fines, and forced into sextortion activities.

A multi-raid police operation in Kulai and Johor Baru (June 20–July 1) rescued the victims and led to nine arrests, including the suspected masterminds.
