In the United States, it is common for children aged 18 to leave the house and find their own place. However, it seems that in lieu of the economy, stagnant wages and rising inflation prices, youngsters aren’t moving out as early as they used to. This is apparently leaving out $12 billion from the economy.

However, most social media users disagree with this statement saying that it’s not the youths’ fault for this decline. It is how the current economic system in the United States currently is that’s the problem. 

Furthermore, many are surprised that economists are ignorant towards the current situation. Rent has been even more expensive than it has ever been, and many are trying to avoid being in severe debt.
