KUALA LUMPUR – The KL Strike Force detained 84 foreign nationals and issued 48 compounds during Operasi Gasak Siri 4/2025 on Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang, targeting unlicensed businesses and permit misuse. Conducted with DBKL, Immigration, KPDN, JPN and SSM, the operation shut two restaurants immediately and seized nine obstructions.

DBKL issued 26 compounds for dirty premises, missing oil traps and unlicensed signage, while Immigration arrested workers from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Myanmar, Yemen, Indonesia and Vietnam for overstaying and permit abuse. KPDN and SSM issued 7 and 15 compounds respectively. DBKL vowed continued scheduled enforcement.
